I portray people in social settings, and I am fascinated by pensive moments in facial expressions. Dark old pubs, and environments where social boundaries are blurred are of particular interest to me, and the storytelling of messy interior and patterns of fabric. I take inspiration from found photographs.
I graduated with an MA in illustration from Central Saint Martin's College of Art & Design in 2009. Previously I have studied art in Birmingham and Oslo. I am originally from Austevoll, Norway. In 2019 I left London for Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
